day hike - thunder mountain - September 23, 2026

Thunder Mountain (10718'): between upper Red Pine Lakes and White Pine Lake. Easier than the nearby Pfeifferhorn but with a similar flavor. We will boulder-hop up to the top from the largest of the upper Red Pine Lakes. One should expect some scrambling. Mileage is estimated.
