duchesne river gorge day hike - September 26, 2026

We'll visit the Uintas to hike the Duchesne River trail through the lower gorge, from Mill Flat to Little Deer Creek. Even though there have been fires in the area in the last few years, there should still be plenty of yellow aspens. It's an hour and 40 minute drive each way, but the fall color on the drive should be excellent.
