car camp- hiking the highest peaks in carbon, and emery county - September 6, 2026
Come Join the GOAT challenges. It is to hike to the highest point in every county starting in 2026 and finishing up by December 2027. Look for previous posts for other peaks.
Camp in Emery County. hike East Benchmark (6 miles round trip). Hopefully, the wildflowers will be out. Then drive to Carbon County and hike Monument Peak (1 mile round trip) and head home.
