One of the greatest things about the Provo-Salt Lake-Ogden metro area is the extensive system of paved bike trails traversing its length. With the help of the Frontrunner train, this can make for a nice long day of biking up to a century. A group of seven of us gathered at Murray station at 6AM on a Saturday morning to catch the very first train heading south. We got off in Provo and immediately began our cycling journey north. We biked part of the Provo River Trail, all of the Murdock Canal Trail, most of the Jordan River Trail, all of the Legacy Parkway Trail, and all of the Denver Rio Grande Trail. Four of us made it the whole way to the Ogden Frontrunner station ten hours later with our GPS tracks victoriously reading 100 miles!
