| On April 26th, around 4 pm I received a text that my mom was on her way to a hospital for emergency blood transfusions Thankfully, the blood transfusions worked and instead of the "worst", our family is celebrating a hopeful road to recovery. At least 4 Club members have shared how they or close love ones have recently needed blood. You never know when or for whom the need will arise, but the need is constant. The rarest type of blood is the one you need, but don't have on hand. One of the world's rarest blood types is RH-null. Fewer than 50 people in the world have this blood type. It is so rare that it's sometimes called "golden blood". On May 21, the next WMC blood drive will be held from 12-6 pm Please consider giving and thank you.
