| The Virgin River Rim trail is a 32-mile route just east of Cedar City. It includes great views of Navajo Lake, Zion NP, and lots of neat red rock formations. A group of nine people including Frank, Kerry, Steve, Sharon, Joselyn, Cameron, Mandy, Shawn and Diana tackled this trail over the three-day memorial day weekend. We overcame many challenges including muddy roads, high elevations, cold rain, scarce water sources, and exceptionally lumpy campsites. But we still had a great time exploring an often neglected area of Utah. |
