| Three of us set out from the Wild Rose Trailhead and ran to the Canyon Creek Canyon Trailhead. Frank and Chris wrapped up their day at 10 miles, while Kerry completed the full loop by adding a road section for a total of 16 miles. A rainy start might have discouraged less hardy souls, but we pressed on and were rewarded with mostly dry skies for the remainder of the run. We encountered a few icy patches and some mud, but overall the conditions were surprisingly manageable for winter. |
