| As part of an initiative to strengthen ties with local colleges, Julie recently organized a series of hikes with students from the Westminster University Outdoor Program. On this outing, five members of the WMC joined five participants from Westminster for a scenic hike to Lake Mary at Brighton. Along the way, the group enjoyed wildflowers in full bloom and ideal hiking weather. We also gave them a brief history and tour of our historic lodge. The WMC and Westminster Outdoor Program share a common mission of getting people outside and building community, making this a natural partnership that we look forward to continuing. |
