| It was an honor to join other WMC members to support Survivors at the Summit https://www.SurvivorsAtTheSummit.org/guided-hikes, an annual event since 1996 hosted by Survivor Wellness, a cancer care non-profit organization that provides cancer survivors with cancer wellness services and support. There were hundreds at the event at Brighton. These photos are just my group for the WMC-organized hike to the top of Mt. Millicent. The history https://www.SurvivorsAtTheSummit.org/History of this event is inspirational, and WMC has been there since the beginning. Knick Knickerbocker was there in 1996 for the first event to the top of King's Peak, and he was there again this year, participating in on of the hikes. Yellow flags inscribed with names of and messages to friends, family members, and loved ones are still part of the tradition. |
