Trip Report: Lewis Peak Hike

| Six hikers (Don, Mitch, Ed, Julie, Aditi and Suzanne) ascended Lewis Peak in north Ogden. We were greeted with early winter-type weather with intermittent sunshine. There was 2 to 3 inches of fresh snow covering the autumn leaves, providing beautiful scenery all day. Part-way up the wind picked up substantially and it started snowing, adding to the sense of adventure! After a brief lunch at the summit we descended down the various short loop options. The sun finally returned about when we hit the parking lot. |
