| To help fulfill the Oldtimers Party mission of bringing out long-standing WMC members, I scheduled a pre-party hike accessible to just about everyone. The boardwalk trail at Silver Lake, mostly flat and roughly a mile long, served as the perfect backdrop for socializing and moose spotting. After one lap around the lake, most of the group were still wanting more. We went around again, this time taking a side excursion onto a bushy trail that added a little more adventure, before heading over to the lodge for the party. |
