day hike - honeycomb cliffs - August 14, 2026
by request: via 'Fantasy Ridge'. We will start from the Silver Lake trail (Brighton). Starting there, it is not a very long hike with only about 1750' elevation gain. So we can afford the slow pace. The ridge itself is easy scrambling with the option to make it easier by using the steel cables and rungs. The true highpoint is the northwest peak less than 15 minutes away, if we choose to visit it. Mileage is estimated.
