hike - lower days fork - August 16, 2026
Days Fork is usually less crowded compared to many other areas in the Central Wasatch. The Days Fork trail starts at the Spruces campground in Big Cottonwood Canyon. For this NTD+ to MOD- activity, I hope that we hike about 0.5 miles beyond the first big meadow. There is a fee to park at the Spruces campground parking lot. The America the Beautiful pass and the America the Beautiful Senior pass will cover the parking fee. The listed hike distance of approximately 5 miles is for the round trip.
