day hike - center canyon peak, heber city - August 2, 2026
We plan to hike to Center Canyon Peak (9791 ft) and maybe some other peaks in the south of Heber City, weather, conditions and situation permitting. I attempted this peak last summer but it was not successful due to the weather. We may be on a trail most of the time, but not always. Distance will depend on how many peaks we want to make and which route we want to take. It's not very steep. Exploratory. Please bring 10 essentials. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, July 31, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
