heughs canyon waterfall evening hike - August 31, 2026
Join us for an evening hike to Heughs Canyon Waterfall, a scenic foothills outing just outside Salt Lake City. The trail follows a shaded canyon with a steady uphill climb, creekside views, and a rewarding waterfall at the turnaround point. Expect rocky, uneven terrain and bring sturdy shoes, water, and some mud.
Classic hike to Heughs canyon waterfall. This does get steep in some sections so watch out for mud.
At the end is a simple scramble to the waterfall area.
