Red Baldy to Sugarloaf. This is the way I first did it when organized by Tom Walsh in 1994. Going this direction is advantageous for old people like myself with less downhill on aging knees and other body parts but still a lot of vertical. We will drop a vehicle or two at Alta then head down to the White Pine TH. Starting with Red Baldy we will then climb Red Top, the AF Twins with perhaps a side trip to the Bastard Son, Hidden Peak where perhaps we can resupply with water and maybe grab a beer! From there proceed to Baldy and Sugarloaf where hopefully unlike in 94 the group will not be split asunder by a thunderstorm. Then decent to Alta.
