uintas hike: upper weber area with dogs and dip - July 19, 2026

This hike takes us through wooded and lush terrain to three lakes (Round, Sand, and Fish). Water is available along the route for dogs. This is generally a very uncrowded hike. At the scenic Fish Lake, brave participants can take a cold dip and dogs can fetch sticks (bring a swimsuit).

Start time will depend on weather forecast with earlier times to beat the afternoon heat. Post hike, we will drink and dine at Oakley Diner with a dog friendly patio.

Meeting place will be at Oakley City Hall to carpool to the trailhead.
