overnight hike - lone peak - June 13, 2026

Saturday: We'll hike the Jacob's Ladder trail to Enniss Peak. A little further up we'll turn and hike to Little Willow Creek in Cherry Canyon to camp. 7.25 miles and 4460' of gain in one of the longest days of the year.

Sunday: We'll start not-crazy early and continue up into the cirque, then do the class 2/3 trail to the summit. Return to camp, maybe take a nap then head down. The viability of this overnight will depend on the availability of water in the creek. I'll keep an eye on snowpack upstream to ensure the likelihood of running water.
