day hike - jeep benchmark via ward canyon, bountiful - October 24, 2026
I have hiked to Jeep Benchmark (8653 ft) but want to try the different route via Ward Canyon. I have hiked the trail before. While there is a trail all the way, it is difficult to follow it. Depending on the water level, there may be creek crossing. Approximately 10+ miles RT with 3700 ft gain. Please bring 10 essentials. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, Oct 23, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
