maple canyon fall color day hike - October 3, 2026

Maple Canyon has become a serious rock climbing destination since the first time Donn visited in 1991. It's still a spectacular location to go hiking, particularly in color season. Come enjoy the cliffs, slots and fins in conglomerate rock. There's even an arch. It's in Sanpete County, about an hour and 20 minutes by car.
