evening hike to lake mary at brighton - October 7, 2026

Join me to take advantage of evening daylight while we still have it and hike to Lake Mary! With luck we'll still have some nice gold on the aspens. If we get there with extra time left, we could continue on to one or more of the other lakes farther up the trail. Sunset will be at 7:00 so feel free to bring a light if you think you might like one. Note: Parking at Brighton is free and there should be plenty available, but if you'd rather carpool, you can show up at the Big Cottonwood Canyon park-and-ride and try to find another club member to ride with. I'll be driving in from the Heber side so I won't be carpooling. Shoot me an email to let me know if you're coming!
