morning hike - alta (location changed from saddleback knob due to the bcc event) - September 12, 2026
This hike was originally posted as Saddleback Knob (9,120 ft). However, due to the REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon & Half, it is difficult to take the route from BCC. The location changed to Alta accordingly. We will start very early before the BCC Event may affect the traffic, probably with a headlamp. We will move in moderately fast pace and be done early. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, Sep 11, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
