day hike - z trail to below mt o west slabs loop - September 18, 2026

Hike from Z trail TH up gully below Mt O West Slabs. Scramble up steep gully to west ridge of Mt O North Peak. Descend user trail to the BST to loop back to the TH. Expect some steep scrambling but little exposure. Descent is down a primitive user-created trail.
